PFRMAT TS TARGET R0997 AUTHOR 1710-6893-2295 REMARK Many structures in the stage2 tarball were used. METHOD Using pieces of 23000 proteins selected by statistical potentials for low backbone energies, METHOD an ensemble of 3000 compact full-length decoys was built as a source of segments for swapping. METHOD In the first round of a GA algorithm, fragments 1 to 30 residues in length are swapped into small random METHOD subsets of models most similar to the CASP model in the stage 2 tarball. In subsequent rounds, METHOD evolution was driven by selection functions focusing on removing atom overlap and optimal packing.
