PFRMAT TS TARGET R0979 AUTHOR 1710-6893-2295 REMARK Structures in the stage2 tarball were used only as guide distance matrices. METHOD Using pieces of 23000 proteins selected by statistical potentials for low backbone energies, METHOD an ensemble of 3000 compact full-length decoys was built as a source of segments for swapping. METHOD In the first round of a GA algorithm, fragments 1 to 30 residues in length are swapped into small METHOD random subsets of models in constructed ensemble. In subsequent rounds, evolution was driven by METHOD selection functions focusing on removing atom overlap and optimal packing.
