Seventh Community Wide Experiment on the Critical Assessment of Techniques for Protein Structure Prediction

Prediction Submission Form

Instructions

The form on this web page should be used by human expert groups to submit their predictions to CASP7.

If you registered a server group to participate in CASP7, there is a different gateway for your predictions to reach Protein Structure Prediction Center. Briefly saying, your server will be automatically sent a query from cubic@www2.predictioncenter.org at the time of a target release, your responses will go directly to the Prediction Center and verified for format compliance. In case of succesfull submission no confirmation will be sent to you by email. If the submission contained an error, you will be immediately notified through email. If your prediction gets rejected for format inconsistency, you will have a possibility to correct problems and re-send us the corrected prediction(s) manually to servcorr@predictioncenter.org. Corrections will be accepted at this account provided they reach us within 72 hours since the target release.
More details about CASP7 server submission procedure can be found in our message ( 1 ) to server groups.
As an alternative to using this form, human expert groups may send predictions directly by e-mail. In this case a prediction should be sent in the e-mail body (one model per e-mail) to submit@predictioncenter.org.

In both cases your data will be validated for format and completeness. Every submission with correct AUTHOR and PFRMAT header fields will be assigned an automatically generated PIN number which will be sent to your e-mail address ONLY if your submission contained error(s)/warning(s). The accepted predictions will be assigned an ACCESSION CODE. These predictions could be viewed through the Model Viewer.

If you need to change your prediction later, you will be able either to resubmit it or make changes right on the WEB page. To exploit the latter option, you will need to paste your prediction PIN number into the box number 3 bellow. This will provide a quick access to your submission (please remember: PIN number is not an ACCESSION CODE).

Note 1. Please, don't send us models obtained by publicly available servers if you don't run the server, meaningfully modify the original server prediction or run a consensus server.
Note 2. Please, don't submit the same or very similar predictions for several groups you are a member of (e.g., for your server and "human expert" groups registered for CASP7).

Please, enter your email address in the box below:

By using this web page, you have three different options to enter your prediction data:

1. Paste or type your data into the box below.

An alternative is to use the WWW browser with 'File Upload' support. Just select the file containing your prediction data and this will be read and sent to us after you click START.

2. Include the name of your local file containing prediction data.

3. To change an existing prediction, please enter the PIN number which has been mailed to you after submitting the original prediction.

If you are using option 2 or 3 you can select one of the following:
      Upload selected file
      Do not Upload
